According to my husband, Father’s Day weekend was a success. We went to the movies Saturday and still had enough on our giftcard from Kit and Laura to pay for his movie!! UP was a very cute movie. Sydney liked it a lot.
After the movies, we headed to Oxmore Mall. They have an Apple store. :o) We all three love that store. You would think Sydney would be bored in a computer store, but oh no! She remembers where the computers are for the kids to play on and instantly wants to go over there. Then, it’s a drama-fest to get her away. My little girl is a geek in the making! :oD
After the mall, we headed home & watched another good movie…Passengers. If you haven’t seen it, you should. We like psychological thrillers. My dad would probably guess the ending, but we didn’t. By the end of the movie it was midnight!!
The next morning, I woke up early to get the lasagna ready. I wanted to be able to layer it and throw it in the oven when we got home. Church was great. After church, I made the lasagna. It was very yummy! There aren’t many dishes that I make well, but I do pretty good at that one. Ryan likes it. So, it was an appropriate Father’s Day meal.
After lunch came brownies & for dinner, chicken and dumplings. It was a very fattening, but fun & delicious Father’s Day weekend!!
